B-Suave New Wave Of Success

The definition of success is different for everyone. Hip Hop Artist B-Suave’s meaning, is to make a name for himself on The Nashville music scene.

“ Success for me is the point to which I am able to be financially stable, and have a large platform where I can display my wide range of Musical Sound and additional talents"

Born as Baylor Segree, This 21-year-old visionary first encounter with success was actually athletic sports. Segree Attended Brentwood Academy where his main focus was football, basketball and track. Thanks to basketball, Segree was introduced to a teammate who was a rapper and made his own music. Segree took this as a sign to reconnect with his musical dreams he’s had ever since elementary.

Before Brentwood Academy, He was enrolled in an arts academy during elementary & middle school. The young Star took on dance, guitar and even graphic art design. From that point on he knew he was simply capable of anything.

Fast forward to high school, Segree basketball teammate was getting a lot of recognition for his

music. A success he always envisioned for himself. After hearing all of the positive feedback & buzz around the school, Segree did not hesitate to ask the ultimate question.

“How can I start making my own music? I've always wrote lyrics and poems but never knew how to take it a step further and put my recorded voice on the beat"

After learning the tools he needed, Segree released his first rap song on Soundcloud, called, “FLT". The positive feedback he received encouraged him to drop another mixtape called "Blessed Success".

Everything seemed to go so well for the La Vergne rapper until he had to transfer from Brentwood Academy to his local high school in La Vergne, TN. This transition made him feel like an outcast. As a result, Segree decided to put down the mic & go back to his comfort zone, sports. During his Senior year at La Vergne, he realized his potential in running track. This opportunity led him to record breaking numbers on the field.

Before graduating highschool , he received a track scholarship to Tennessee State University & decided to major in Business Marketing. Straying further away from his love for music. It wasn’t until the pandemic in 2019 where Segree found music as an outlet again. With everyone spending countless hours at home, new hobbies were bond to happen .

This moment in time led the track Star back to the studio where he produced three more Hip hop songs, which are now on his latest Mixtape, "The Visionary".

“The Visionary” has been release on April 7th of this year as Segree continues to build his foundation of success. If making a name for yourself was a person it would be Baylor Segree also known as B-Suave.
