With Just a few seconds left in the NBA game Pelicans vs Houston Rockets, DeMarcus Cousins life changed forever.
The New Orleans basketball player injured his achilles tendon Friday night.
The good news is that the Houston Rockets did lose, making The New Orleans Pelicans fourth win and seven out of eight games total.
Counsins will not be returning this season, leaving the New Orleans front court very slim. Coach Alvin Gentry has remained positive during this tough time.
“We were starting to play damn good basketball. DeMarcus has been great. Pelicans are 27-21, just one game out of the 5th seed in the Western Conference.” Says Gentry.
DeMarcus is not the only basketball player on his team with a massive injury.
Alexis Aijinca – Knee Injury
