Makayla Boling, a Sevierville,
TN native, brought her passion for videography to Murfreesboro, TN.
"When people would laugh in my face and said I will never get into the music industry. It motivated me to prove them wrong."
Makayla's love for music began when her father shared his drunken thoughts on the industry.
Every Sunday, he tuned in to Colleen's Classic Country show on WIVK-FM, while she enjoyed his home cooked meals.
At age 14, her mother convinced her to attend a kids college camp for the summer, where she discovered her passion for film. During camp, she trained on how to record moving images and sound on video tape.
In 2017, Makayla brought her passion to MTSU and became an audio production major. She later joined Omega Delta Psi, a recording industry fraternity on campus that helped open doors for her.
Makayla's hard work in video, editing and production landed her a paid internship at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.
